Description
Woodview House is a house built in the mid-19th century with few later alterations. It features painted stone rubble and slate-hung cladding on the left side. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, adorned with crested ridge tiles and rendered stacks on both the left and right.
The house has a double depth plan, with a central entrance and principal rooms located to the front left and right. It is two storeys tall and has a symmetrical three-window range, all featuring 12-pane sashes from the 19th century, complete with cambered heads and keystones. The central entrance includes a half-glazed door topped by a fanlight with radial glazing bars and a rusticated surround. A string course runs along the first floor. There is a rebuilt 20th-century conservatory at the front and a garage attached to the left side, which also has a hipped slate roof. The right side of the house features two similar 12-pane sashes on both the ground and first floors, along with a first-floor string course and a moulded eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
