Description

Little Trethun is an 18th-century house located on the west side of Cross Lane, Tideford. It is constructed of slatestone rubble with dressings of Devon limestone. The roof is covered in asbestos slates, with gable ends and a gable stack to the left, featuring a brick shaft.

The house follows a 2-room plan with a central entrance. There is also an integral out-shut of one storey with a loft above, located at the rear, which served as service rooms.

The exterior is symmetrical, with a 3-window front. All windows are 4-pane sashes with segmental heads and keystones in Devon limestone, which continue as a string course between the windows, and a limestone bandcourse below the eaves. The central entrance has a 20th-century panelled door with an overlight, similarly headed. A 20th-century window is situated on the left side at ground floor level. The interior was not inspected.
