Description

Tideford Bridge is a bridge over the River Tiddy, likely built in the 16th century and widened in the 18th century. It is constructed of slatestone rubble, with an archway on the downstream side made of limestone and chamfered granite coping along the parapet walls. The downstream side features one pointed chamfered arch in limestone, while the upstream side has one rounded arch with a granite keystone. The parapet walls are approximately one meter high and are splayed back at each end.
