GV II

Lodge to Port Eliot, now house. Mid - late C19 with few later alterations. Slatestone rubble with granite and slate dressings. Slate roof with ridge tiles and gable ends, gable end stack to right. Plan: 2-room plan with entrance through porch at the left side. Small single storey one-room plan addition to right and C20 single storey addtion at rear. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical front has gabled projecting wing with single casement at ground and first floor, at ground floor the head of the window banded in granite, continued as band course. One bay to right with 3-light casement with L hinges of C19, with similar banded head. Granite quoins to right and small gabled dormer above with 2-light casement L hinges. Large rubble stack to right gable end; small single storey addition of one room plan attached to right. Left side has 2- storey gabled porch doorway with flat arch with granite keystone, C20 panelled and glazed door, small 2-light casement at ground floor. C20 single storey addition to rear. Interior: Not inspected.
