Description
These are a pair of estate cottages located in Llandygai. They were built as single-storey, two-room cottages with a loft space, aligned east-west. The cottages are constructed with regularly coursed and dressed rubblestone blocks, with the gable ends rendered and a slate roof. Each cottage features a symmetrical arrangement of two- and three-light windows with slate sills and voussoirs to slightly cambered heads. The left cottage (No. 1) has a 20th-century four-panel door, while the right cottage (No. 2) has a 20th-century boarded door with a glazed panel. Integral end stacks are present, along with a larger shared stack positioned centrally. Gable end windows provide light to the loft spaces. The interior was not inspected during the survey. The cottages form part of a group of two.
