Description

Pont Ty-gwyn is a bridge constructed from local stone rubble. It features a single arched span, supported by rock on either side, situated above a river that flows through rapids beneath a stone sluice, possibly associated with a former mill. The arch includes slightly inset voussoirs, with a regulating course positioned above. The spandrels and the bowed flush parapets are topped with sharply keeled flush coping on both sides.
