Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay symmetrical house flanked by single storey, 2-bay service pavilions and advanced stair block to centre at rear. Cream stugged sandstone rubble, droved ashlar dressings. Base and eaves courses, raised margins to N elevation.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central pilastered and corniced doorpiece with frieze and cornice, flush panelled door, decorated fanlight. Regular fenestration at ground and 1st floor. Irregularly placed windows to each bay in recessed pavilions.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: 3-bay, regular fenestration, slapping to far right. Door to far left and on right return of stair block.

12-pane and 4-pane sash and case windows. Piended grey slate roof, rooflight to rear, sandstone end stacks.

INTERIOR: vestibule door; single pile; winding stone stair.
