Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic 3-bay cottage Cream sandstone rubble, bull-faced squared and snecked to N elevation, ashlar dressings. Base and eaves courses, stop-chamfered reveals with roll-moulding, raised quoins, keystones to round-headed windows, crowstepped finialled gables.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: round-heated doorpiece to centre with impost blocks and fanlit 6-panelled door, gabled wallhead dormer with narrow round-headed window above; taller, gabled bay to left with canted window at ground with stone roof, round-headed window above. Bipartite round-headed window to right; canted timber and slate-hung dormer above, basket-arch window with keystones, cornice with pediment to centre light.

Plate glass and 4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate M-gabled roof with sandstone corniced stacks.
