Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay house with later forestair to E. Variegated sandstone, coursed and squared rubble to front and rear with droved dressings, rubble sides.

N (FRONT) ELEVATION: plain doorway to centre with panelled door and 4-pane rectangular fanlight; single window to 1st floor above. Outer bays with single windows to ground and 1st floor.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: single windows to each bay and floor; modern lean-to and gabled conservatory spanning most of elevation. 2 rectangular slate-hung dormers with half-piend roofs.

E ELEVATION: gabled with apex stack. Stone forestair with substantial landing, timber entrance porch and trellis work.

W ELEVATION: gabled with apex stack.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Slate roof with lead ridge; 2 coped and rendered apex stacks (see above).

INTERIOR: formerly subdivided, now returned to single house.

Tall pink rubble wall to rear and side with flat coping, low wall to front.
