2-4 High Street, Linlithgow

This is a low, two-storey, three-bay house located at 2-4 High Street in Linlithgow, dating from the earlier 19th century. The building is constructed from cream sandstone coursed rubble, with snecked rubble and harling on the ground floor of the south elevation. It features string and eaves courses, painted moulded architraves, and quoins at the ground level, with ashlar margins on the first floor.

On the south (entrance) elevation, there is a door positioned off-centre to the right, flanked by two enlarged windows with window guards to the left and one to the right, while the original windows remain on the first floor. The east (side) elevation includes a forestair with a modern porch.

The windows are four-pane sash and case style. The roof is covered with grey slate and has ashlar coped skew. The original stacks have been removed.
