3 Easter Dalmeny Cottages, Main Street, Dalmeny

3 Easter Dalmeny Cottages is a two-storey, three-bay house dated around 1772, located on Main Street in Dalmeny. The building is harled with ashlar sandstone dressings and features painted cills.

The south elevation, which is the principal facade, has a symmetrical arrangement with a part-glazed and vertically-boarded timber door to the left of the central bay. To the right, there are two windows, and to the left, there is a single window. The first floor mirrors this symmetry with windows in each bay, positioned close to the eaves.

The east elevation is mostly hidden by an adjoining terrace, but it does have a small first-floor window on the left side.

On the north elevation, there are four small windows in the centre and left bays at ground level, and three evenly spaced windows in the first-floor bays, again hugging the eaves. There is also a single-storey lean-to addition made of sandstone and harled sandstone on the outer right, topped with a corrugated-iron roof.

The west elevation features a small window on the right side at ground level. The building predominantly has 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with graded grey slates and includes two skylights on the north side. The rainwater goods are made of cast iron, and there are harled and coped gablehead stacks with circular cans. The skews are coped, and there is a bracketed skewputt at the southeast angle.
