Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, 5-bay (grouped 2-3), asymmetrical cottage. Stugged, squared and snecked sandstone principal elevation, harled side and rear elevations; stugged and droved ashlar dressings. Raised margins to windows and door.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 3-bay group at right, with glazed, vertically-boarded timber door at centre, flanked by windows; 2-bay group to left, with windows in both bays.

W ELEVATION: window to outer right.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: piend-roofed brick addition, with cat-slide outshot to left.

E ELEVATION: obscured by adjoining terrace (see separate listing).

12-pane sash and case windows; graded grey slate roof, continuous over rear wing; cast-iron rainwater goods; coped ashlar gablehead and ridge stacks, with circular cans. Skews.
