Description

Early 17th century; restored 1958. 3-storey and attic 3-bay traditional gable-fronted tenement with pend and shop at ground, crowstepped and chimneyed gable. Cream coursed Pardovan sandstone rubble, ashlar dressings to N elevation.

S (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central door with wide round-arched pend to right, chamfered reveals, window to left. Regular fenestration to 1st and 2nd floor, 1 window to attic.

Segmental-arched entrance to enclosed forestair with red pantiled roof at outer left.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: 2-storey wing, pantiled roof.

12-pane sash and case windows. T-plan roof, thick grey slates.

INTERIOR: gutted.
