Description
The Red Lion Inn, located at 50 High Street in Linlithgow, is a mid-18th century building featuring three storeys and two bays, with licensed premises on the ground floor. The south elevation is rendered and designed to resemble ashlar stonework, with raised margins and a lintel course above the second-floor windows.
The entrance elevation includes a pilastered doorpiece and an enlarged window to the right. The first and second floors have regular fenestration, showcasing 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate, featuring ashlar coped skews and rendered stacks at the gables.
