Description
86 High Street in Linlithgow is an early 18th century, two-storey and attic tenement featuring a symmetrical five-bay design. The building includes two shops on the ground floor and a pend (archway) in the center. The south elevation is rendered and has a base course and a lintel course above the first-floor windows. Each shop has a fanlit flushed-panelled door and a single display window with raised margins.
The entrance elevation features the pend in the center, flanked by shop doors, with windows on either side. The first floor has regular fenestration. The building has plate glass sash and case uPVC windows, with 12-pane uPVC dormers. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with red pantiles, and there is a rendered stack on the gable to the right.
