Description

Circa 1800. 3-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement, shop at ground. Cream sandstone subble, coursed to N elevation. Base and string courses, raised ashlar margins.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: asymmetrical at ground with shop door off-centre right flanked by large modern window to left, window to right, pend to outer left. Regular fenestration to 1st and 2nd floors.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: projecting stair tower with catslide roof, housing stone turnpike stiar; 2-storey wing.

12-pane sash and case windows to. Grey slate roof, canted slate-hung dormer with piended roof, ashlar coped skews, broad rendered stacks to gables.
