Description
73-75 High Street in Linlithgow is an early 19th-century, three-storey, three-bay tenement building with a shop on the ground floor. It is constructed from squared and coursed cream sandstone rubble, featuring raised ashlar margins around the windows and a lintel course at the first floor.
The north elevation is asymmetrical at ground level, with a shop that has a two-leaf panelled door located off-centre to the right, and windows to the left, along with a pend on the outer right. There is a continuous fascia and cornice with a moulded console to the right. The first and second floors have regular fenestration, with smaller windows on the second floor.
The building has plate glass sash and case windows, a grey slate roof, ashlar coped skews, and broad rendered stacks at the gables.
