Description
147 High Street in Linlithgow is a later 19th-century, three-storey, two-bay tenement that features a modern shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed from cream squared and coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings.
The north elevation, which serves as the entrance, has two bays with a chamfered angle to the left. The ground floor includes a shop with a pend to the outer left, while the first and second floors each have two symmetrically placed windows. The windows are plate glass sash and case. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended design over the angle, with ashlar coped skews and rendered corniced stacks.
