Description
This mid 19th century building at 100 High Street in Linlithgow is a two-storey and attic, three-bay symmetrical tenement constructed from squared and coursed sandstone rubble. It features base and eaves courses, with bracketed cills at the first floor.
On the south elevation, there is a fanlit doorpiece to the outer left, framed by a stepped roll-moulded architrave. To the center and outer right are windows, and the first floor has regular fenestration. The windows are plate glass sash and case, with a four-pane window in the dormer. The roof is covered in grey slate, and the slate-hung dormer includes a kingpost barge-board at the apex and a bipartite window with a wooden mullion. The building also has ashlar coped skews and stacks at the gables and rear.
