2 Kirk Road, Wishaw

2 Kirk Road in Wishaw is a mid to later 19th century, two-storey, four-bay corner tenement that includes commercial premises on the ground floor. The building is constructed from harled sandstone and features a base course, a projecting cill course on the first floor that divides the floors, a cavetto eaves cornice, architraved windows, and rusticated quoins at the ground level.

The principal elevation on the southwest side is symmetrical with regular window placement. It has a slightly recessed bowed corner bay on the left, which contains a door on the ground floor and a bowed window on the first floor. Above, there is a barge boarded gable dormer with a bipartite window, along with two blind windows on the first floor.

The northwest side elevation is also symmetrical with regular fenestration, featuring tooled squared sandstone and a coped wallhead chimney located at the center. There is a blind window to the right of center.

The southeast and northeast side elevations are adjoining buildings.

The first floor has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor has replacement plate glass windows. The roof is covered with grey slates that have leaded ridges, and there are cast-iron rainwater goods. A tooled sandstone, coped chimney stack is present on the southeast gable.
