Description

  1. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement with shop at ground; M-gabled to N elevation. Cream sandstone rubble, squared, stugged and snecked with ashlar dressings to N elevation, painted at ground. Base course, cill course with stops at 1st floor, roll-moulded eaves course; windows with hollow chamfer and roll-moulding to reveals; crowstepped gables.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: tripartite shopfront with central deep-set 2-leaf half-glazed doors, timber chamfered posts to porch with large display windows flanking. 3 segmental-headed windows at 1st floor. 2 squared basket-arched windows in corbelled crowstepped gablehead dormers to outer bays each with aprons and ball finials. Date panel between.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate mansard roof, sandstone corniced stacks to gables.
