Description
74 High Street in Linlithgow is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey and attic, three-bay tenement that features a shop on the ground floor and a pend to the left. The south elevation is constructed from squared, coursed, stugged, and painted rubble, with a base course. The windows have moulded architraves.
The entrance elevation includes a central door with a fanlight, a large display window to the right with chamfered surrounds, and a carriage pend to the left. The first floor has regular fenestration with 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is covered in grey slate, with an ashlar coped skew to the left and a skewputt. There is a slate-hung gabled bipartite dormer featuring a wooden mullion.
