78-80 High Street, Linlithgow

78-80 High Street in Linlithgow is an early 19th-century, two-storey and attic tenement building with three bays, featuring a shop at the ground level and a pend to the left. The south elevation is rendered and includes a base course, a continuous cill course with fluting between the cills, a lintel course, and a cornice.

The entrance elevation on the south side has a tripartite shop front, which includes a central flush-panelled door with a fanlight, flanked by display windows that have chamfered surrounds. There is also an iron vent grill located below the window to the left.

The north rear elevation features a two-storey wing with a spiral staircase. The building has 12-pane sash and case windows, with 4-pane windows in the dormers. The roof is covered with grey slate and has two piended slate-hung dormers. The building is topped with ashlar coped skew and has mutual gable stacks.
