Description

Bridge No. 44 on the Union Canal in Linlithgow was designed by engineer Hugh Baird around 1820. It features a segmental arch and has a stone parapet on the west side, with railings on the east side. The bridge is constructed from cream-colored squared, coursed, and stugged sandstone, and has a timber overhang on the east side.
