Description
6 Union Road in Linlithgow is a small, asymmetrical semi-detached house built in the later 19th century. It is two stories high and has a triangular plan with a curved principal elevation facing south, situated on rising ground. The exterior is made of cream sandstone rubble with droved ashlar dressings.
On the south entrance elevation, there is a six-panelled door located to the outer left, with chamfered arrises around it. To the far right, there is a window on the first floor and a blocked door to the outer right. The south rear elevation features a blocked window.
A rubble quadrant wall with ashlar coping is attached at the southwest angle of the property. The windows include a 12-pane fixed window with a 3-pane top-hinged design. The roof is covered with grey slate and features mutual ashlar coped skew and stack, along with rooflights on the south and west sides.
