Description
This structure, built in the earlier 19th century, features cream sandstone rubble walls. It has semi-circular coping on the east and west sides of Lion Well Wynd, as well as a southern retaining wall that supports the ramps leading up to the railway footbridge at the top of Lion Well Wynd. The walls include various openings, including pedestrian gateways and overthrows.
