149 Links Street in Kirkcaldy is a house dating from the mid to later 19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure that forms part of an irregular terrace. The building is constructed of dressed ashlar and features base and eaves courses, raised margins, and stop-chamfered arrises.

The south elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a block-pedimented, concave-moulded doorway at the center. This doorway includes a deep-set panelled timber door and a plate glass fanlight above it, with windows located in the flanking bays. The outer bays feature windows on the first floor.

The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans. The building also has ashlar-coped skews and a cast-iron downpipe that includes a decorative rainwater hopper on the southwest side.
