11 Royal Terrace, Linlithgow

10 Royal Terrace in Linlithgow is an earlier 19th-century pair of semi-detached villas, each two storeys high and featuring three bays with classical details. The buildings are constructed from sandstone rubble, with droved cream sandstone ashlar on the north face, and include a base and eaves course.

The north elevation, which faces the entrance, has a pilastered doorpiece at the center of each villa's three bays. This is complemented by a panelled fluted frieze, a cornice, a stepped blocking course, and a fanlit panelled door, leading to a deep-set glazed vestibule door. The windows are arranged in a regular pattern.

On the south elevation, which is the rear, each villa has three bays with a central stair window positioned above a coal cellar door. There are outbuildings that abut the villas at the center.

Inside, there is a central hall and a curved staircase with iron balusters. The windows in No 10 are plate glass sash and case, while No 11 features 12-pane sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and has a piended design, with a mutual chimneystack at the center and an end chimneystack to the right.

The boundary walls consist of a rubble wall topped with semi-circular coping, and there are gatepiers with chamfered angles and ashlar caps.
