Deanville, 27 Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

Deanville is a mid-Victorian detached villa located at 27 Kenilworth Road in Bridge of Allan. This large building is constructed from snecked rubble and stands two storeys high, featuring a central three-storey entrance tower. There are canted bays on both the left and right sides across both floors. The left bay has a cavetto-corbelled design that transitions to a square and gabled shape, with a small slit window at the attic level. The central tower bay includes a square-headed moulded doorpiece and a single window on the first floor, along with a pair of small round-arched windows at the top stage. The tower is topped with a French pavilion roof that has a finely detailed wrought iron platform above it, and the building features crowstepped gables. The roofs are slated and adorned with decorative iron cresting, and there is a wrought iron vane over the left-hand bay.
