Description
30B Chalton Road is a large, mid-Victorian neo-Jacobean detached mansion. The building is symmetrical and features two storeys with a dormerless attic. The central porch is made of coursed rubble and includes an arched and columned doorpiece, with a gabled dormer-head window above it. This is flanked by gabled canted bays that have five lights, which are cavetto-splayed to square and gabled, each with small round-arched attic windows. The gables are stepped at half their height and topped with spiked finials. At the rear, there are single-storey wings with slated roofs.
