Description
Ashcroft is a mid-Victorian, two-storey detached villa constructed from snecked rubble. The building features an L-plan layout with a front that has an advanced left-hand gable, which includes a canted bay on both floors. To the right, there is a bipartite window that is gabled and has a dormer head on the first floor. The centre of the villa has a single-window above a plain open porch supported by square columns. The gablets have small gothic slit windows with stop-chamfered openings. The roof is slated with straight skews that have finials. At the rear, there are single-storey wings built from rubble.
