Description
Rokeby is a mid-Victorian, two-storey and attic detached villa built from snecked rubble. The building has a semi-symmetrical design with a three-window front, featuring slightly advanced gabled ends. It includes canted bays on both floors, which are cavetto-corbelled to square and gabled on the right, while the ground floor has a canted bay on the left with a bipartite window over a recessed centre. The entrance features a round-arched, hood-moulded doorpiece with a wrought iron balcony above. Other notable features include stop-chamfered openings, crow-stepped gables with finials, and a slated roof. A small timber-faced dormer is located at the centre of the roof.
