Lentran, 33-35 Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

Lentran, located at 33-35 Kenilworth Road in Bridge of Allan, is a large detached mansion built in 1861. The building features coursed rubble with raised margins and is designed with two storeys and a dormerless attic. The south front has a double-gabled appearance with a single window positioned between two-storey canted bays that are topped with decorative gothic cast-iron parapets. Above these bays are attic bipartite windows. The central entrance is highlighted by a consoled doorpiece, and the openings are moulded with slight shoulder details.

On the west front, there are four windows, with the central two being advanced to form a broad central gable that includes tripartite windows. The ground floor features a pair of slightly advanced windows with a continuous iron balcony above. Unfortunately, the attic window has been altered. To the east, there is a single-storey double-gabled wing that includes sculptured panels in its gables, broad-eaved slated roofs, and octagonal chimney shafts at the peaks of the gables.
