Wellpark, 41, 43 Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

Wellpark, located at 41 and 43 Kenilworth Road in Bridge of Allan, is a large free late Gothic/neo-Jacobean mansion house built in 1872. The building features an asymmetrical two-storey, three-bay front, with a gabled section on the right that includes a canted bay extending through both floors. The roof is platformed, adorned with patterned slating and iron cresting, and there is a small pointed-arched window at the attic level.

The central entrance bay is advanced and features a depressed arch doorpiece flanked by narrow lights, with a hoodmoulded tripartite window above it on the first floor. At the attic level, there is a small quatrefoil in the shaped gable. To the left, there is a slightly advanced gabletted window above a rectangular ground floor bay that is topped with ball finials.

The building has L-plan flanks on the east side, which include an altered rectangular bay similar to that on the front. The angles are splayed and corbelled to square, with moulded windows throughout. There are single-storey wings at the rear, with slated roofs, gables that are stepped at half their height, and a crowstepped gable at the back wing.
