Description
43 Chalton Road is a mid-Victorian semi-detached house that stands two stories tall. The building features a symmetrical design with snecked rubble construction. The central bay has two segment-headed windows, a center shaft, and a gablet above a continuous cast-iron balcony. There are twin round-arched doorways situated between the advanced ends, which have canted bays on both floors. These bays are cavetto-corbelled to square and gabled, with crowstepped gables topped with ball finials. The roof is slated.
