Description
Viewforth is a large mid-Victorian mansion located at 2 Kenilworth Road in Bridge of Allan. The building is constructed of snecked rubble with freestone dressings and features a main front facing south. It has two gables with canted bays on all floors and a central porch supported by square columns. The west gable also has a canted bay, and the openings at the canted bays are moulded. The rear of the building is plain with double gables and irregularly placed windows. The roof is slated with bracketted eaves. Additionally, there is a single-storey basement and attic wing on the east front, which is also rubble-built and has a slated mansard roof. A modern open fire escape is located at the rear.
