2-4 Snowdon Place, Stirling

2-4 Snowdon Place is a mid-Victorian semi-detached villa, notable for its large snecked rubble construction and asymmetrical design. The building has two stories, a basement, and an attic. The south-facing front features a central pavilion with a French roof, flanked by a tripartite window arrangement, a bipartite window, and an octagonal turret on the left. To the right, there is a stilted segment-headed porch with nook shafts, leading up to balustraded steps, and a broad canted bay with a plain parapet. The west-facing front includes a three-story entrance tower topped with a pyramid roof, which has a doorpiece similar to that of the porch. On the left side, there is another broad canted bay with a plain parapet, while the right side features a narrow window and a stretch of blank wall with a wall-head chimney. The openings on the ground floor are stop-chamfered and transomed. The roof is covered with slates and features both piended and platformed sections.
