Description
7 Snowdon Place is a later Victorian, asymmetrical, detached Italianate villa. The building is constructed of two-storey snecked rubble and features a three-storey entrance tower on the west side, which includes a square column Roman Doric porch and balustraded steps. The north front has a bipartite design with a left-hand advanced section that includes a canted bay extending through both floors. The west frontage showcases a semi-duodecagonal bay with a bowed roof. The tower is adorned with stilted arched windows featuring raised and channelled voussoirs at both the ground and first floors, while the top stage has plain triplet windows with railed cills. The villa is topped with a broad-eaved pyramid roof that has a steeper pitch at the apex, along with piended slated roofs that have bracketed eaves and decorative iron finials.
