Description

  1. Mid Victorian asymmetrical Italianate villa: 2-storey

L-plan front with 4-storey tower in re-entrant angle,

rubble-built canted bay through both floors to right,

bipartite to left. Tower has round-arched doorpiece part

infilled as a window, decorative cast-iron balcony and

consoled window at first stage. Tripartite windows 2nd stage,

pairs of arched windows at splay-angled top stage, panelled

angles and balustraded parapet. Piended slated roof.

Decorative ashlar gatepiers.
