Mid Victorian. Large detached asymmetrical 2-storey and basement, coursed rubble villa of idiosyncratic design in extensive grounds. E entrance front has balanced but asymmetrical elevation central 3-storey and attic entrance tower with coupled square column porch, stilted triplets of windows above, steep French pavilion roof with piended

dormers above bracketted cornice; 2-window with lower French pavilion roof and tall quadruple-shaft chimney on right; N front advanced end bays with pavilion roofs, canted bay on left, tripartite rectangular bay on right, 2-window between, arched dormers; W front 2-window and advanced right hand pavilion roofed section with canted bay, gabled and arched dormer.
