Description
129 Cadzow Street in Hamilton is a mid-19th century, single-storey and attic villa with a rectangular plan and three bays, showcasing classical detailing. The front is finished in cream ashlar, while the sides are constructed from rubble. It features architraved windows with 8-pane sash and case frames, margined angles, a band course at the wallhead, a cornice, and a blocking course. The roof has coped skews and corniced end stacks, along with bipartite gabled dormers that have plate glass glazing and half-timbered pediments.
The front elevation includes a panelled two-leaf door at the centre, which is topped with a fanlight and framed by a Doric pilastered doorcase. There are windows on both the left and right sides of the door, two dormers above, and two small rooflights.
The left and right return elevations each have a single window.
The interior has not been seen.
