116 Cadzow Street, Hamilton

116 Cadzow Street in Hamilton is a two-storey building designed by Cullen, Lochhead and Brown in 1907, showcasing a Free Edwardian Renaissance style. The front is asymmetrical and constructed of polished ashlar. It features pedimented end sections with two windows, shallow pilasters, and a large segmentally arched window on the left with a metal balcony at the first floor. The upper windows on the right are adorned with aprons and pendant swags. The central section includes an arch-headed doorpiece with double leafed doors to the left, featuring clasped hands in an oval on the central panel, along with pendant swags, an arched hood cornice, and two small windows above. There is one window to the right, with the upper window having an apron similar to the right-hand pedimented section. The building has a piended green slated roof with tall corniced end stacks and eaves boards. At the rear, there is a rendered hall with four window flanks and intermediate buttresses.
