Description
4 Central Avenue in Cambuslang, Glasgow, is an unusual building composed of two houses arranged in an approximately symmetrical U-plan. The L-plan features three-bay north and south elevations that are nearly identical, each showcasing a steep-pitched advanced gable, an inner door, and a three-light window with a triangular attic dormer above. The structure is built of snecked and squared rubble with ashlar dressings, and it has plate glass sash and case windows. The deep-eaved slate roofs include timberwork in the gable heads. The long east flank features two gables and a dormer, while a low wing adjoins each west gable.
