Description

Circa 1830 with later extensive wing to south making

L-plan house. North elevation: 2-storey with attic over

basement, symmetrical 3 bays. Ashlar with angle strips,

and channelled to basement; architraved doorpiece with

consoled cornice; 12-pane glazing; eaves cornice; slate

roof with 2 canted dormers and corniced end stacks.

South elevation and wing, snecked rubble with droved

ashlar dressings. 1-bay at left of earlier house with sash

windows and canted dormer, projecting with has 2-storey

gabled bay with tripartite mullioned windows to south,

and dormer raised through eaves to cast. Panelled and

corniced square ashlar gatepiers.
