Description
18 Oakshaw Street in Paisley is a house dating from around 1830. It features a symmetrical three-bay design and is one storey high with an attic to the north. The building is constructed of squared and coursed rubble on the south side, complemented by ashlar dressings and painted margins. The south entrance has a lugged architraved doorpiece with a panelled door, while there is a margined door to the north. All windows are margined, with a 12-pane window to the north and a 2-pane window to the south. The house has an eaves band and a slate roof, which includes square skewputts and corniced end stacks. There are two canted dormers on the north side and one modern dormer on the south side.
