Description

2 The Square in Fochabers is a house dating from around 1800. It is two stories tall with an attic and features a west-facing three-bay design. The exterior is harled, with a rubble gable facing High Street, and it has contrasting painted ashlar margins that have been reworked in the later 19th century. The house has a central door and a regular arrangement of windows, with later canted dormers in the outer bays and four-pane glazing. The roof is slate, with stone ridges and coped end stacks.
