Description

38 Maxwell Street in Fochabers is a two-storey, three-bay house built between 1830 and 1840. The house faces south and features harled walls with contrasting painted ashlar dressings. It has a simple corniced and pilastered doorpiece at the center entrance, four-pane glazing, and a small attic window. The building is topped with a slate roof and has coped panelled end stacks. There is a single-storey wing at the rear. Inside, the house has panelled window shutters.
