Description

1802 and later addition, planned by Robert Barr. 2-storey

with attic and basement. Built as school. Squared rubble with

ashlar dressings including long and short angle quoins and

band course over basement. 7 ground, (central one replacing

original entrance) and 5 1st floor sash windows all margined.

1st floor 8-pane. Eaves band and cornice. Slate roof with

lowered end stacks, 3 later dormers, 2 canted. 1-storey over

basement extension to right similarly detailed with 2 2-pane

sashes and piended slate roof. Deeply projecting rounded

rubble stair tower at rear contains entrance.
