Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 4 symmetrical bays plus 1

single storey and basement entrance bay set back. Ashlar.

2-storey part; moulded cill band to ground floor supporting

2 giant Roman Doric pilasters flanking inner bays.

Architraved 2-pane sashes to ground floor with moulded

panel over centre pain. 1st floor windows architraved with

cill band to centre pair and bracketted cills to outer

bays. Continuous entablature and eaves cornice advanced

and pedimented over centre, blocking course to outer bays.

Slate roof and ashlar end stacks with segmental pediments.

Pilastered and pedimented round-arched door in recessed

bay, linked to former Oakshaw East Church.

Hall at rear of little architectural interest.
