Former Oakshaw East United Free Church Hall, 6A Oakshaw Street, Paisley

The Former Oakshaw East United Free Church Hall, located at 6A Oakshaw Street in Paisley, is an earlier 19th-century building. It features two storeys with four symmetrical bays, along with a single-storey and basement entrance bay that is set back. The structure is constructed of ashlar stone.

The two-storey section has a moulded cill band at the ground floor, which supports two giant Roman Doric pilasters that flank the inner bays. The ground floor windows are architraved 2-pane sashes, with a moulded panel above the centre pane. The first-floor windows are also architraved, featuring a cill band above the centre pair and bracketted cills on the outer bays. A continuous entablature and an advanced eaves cornice with a pediment over the centre bay are present, along with a blocking course on the outer bays. The roof is slate, and there are ashlar end stacks topped with segmental pediments.

The entrance features a pilastered and pedimented round-arched door located in the recessed bay, which is linked to the former Oakshaw East Church. The hall at the rear has little architectural interest.
