Description
8 Oakshaw Street in Paisley is a house built around 1830. It features three bays and has a one-storey and attic over a basement at the south end, while the north end is two-storey with an attic. The exterior is made of painted rubble with ashlar margins on the south front and over the basement. There is a shallow porch and marginal two-pane sash windows, along with an eaves band. The roof is slate, with corniced end stacks and a modern dormer. The north elevation has similar detailing, including a gabled porch with a roof covered in fishscale slates. There are two canted dormers flanking a single piended dormer.
